BOOK NOLA: What to do
DAT DOG
Just a short walk from Book NOLA’s cozy Creole Condo on Bourbon Street is Dat Dog, a casual counter service restaurant with a loud interior. Here they artfully craft "haute dogs" using traditional and gourmet sausages. With over 30 unique toppings you can make the hotdog of your dreams! However, their creative specialities with local ingredients should be your go-to with Louisiana favorites like crawfish, alligator, and hot sausage that aren’t easily found elsewhere in the US.
FRENCH QUARTER HAPPY HOUR HOP
Staying in the French Quarter is the easiest way to have walkable access to the best food and drinks NOLA has to offer. When you stay at Book NOLA’s Modern Carondelet Condo on the edge of downtown and French Quarter, you get the best of the city’s restaurants just steps away! An excellent tipple is just a couple blocks from your vacation stay.
POrt of call
Home to one of my favorite burgers ever, served with a loaded baked potato, Port of Call is just across the street from Book NOLA’s Creole Condo on Bourbon Street, the perfect nightcap before stumbling back to your comfortable condo. Port of Call also home to some sweet Tiki drinks, including their famous Neptune’s Monsoon that is an amazingly boozy bang for your buck served in a take home cup!
